Community Rongoā Forest - Native Tree Plantings
Volunteers of Community Rongoa Forest have tagged various trees in the area to enable the public to not only easily identify various trees, but also to find out so much more, such as what the traditional uses of the plant are, whether or not parts of the plant are edible, etc, etc.
Keep an eye out for the tags if you are walking in Elliot Park, Mitchell Street, Brooklyn, Wellington, and scan them with your phone to learn more about the plants.
